​There is something so exciting about experiencing art within a community you live and love. Phinney Ridge and Greenwood are the sort of neighborhoods that are full of companionship, culture, collaboration, and color, making it a perfect place for an annual art walk.

The Phinney Neighborhood Association (PNA) hosts the 30th edition of the PhinneyWood Art Walk featuring dozens of artists at local galleries, businesses, and the PNA headquarters this weekend; Friday from 6-9 p.m., Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. A poster designed by Robynne Raye commemorates the 30th edition of the annual art walk.

Initially, hosting monthly art walks on the second Friday of the month, the Phinney Neighborhood Association consolidated to a single grand event every summer post-pandemic. Now in its 30th year, the PhinneyWood Art Walk has become a beloved tradition, offering an opportunity to discover the work of local artists while exploring the unique businesses and character that make this part of Seattle so special. From paintings and photography to handmade work and live artistic demonstrations, there is something to discover around nearly every corner.

Galleries, local businesses, and neighbors can come together to celebrate the creative spirit of the neighborhood. When in Phinney Ridge, some common favorite things about this neighborhood are the sense of community. It is a place where people recognize one another, support local businesses, and genuinely take pride in where they live. The Art Walk brings all of that together through a shared appreciation for creativity and local talent.

Some notable highlights of this year’s Art Walk include making your way over to Phinney Center, in the lower parking lot blacktop, and Puget Hound (7619 Greenwood Ave N), where you can watch two different murals being painted live.
