Live at the Coliseum of Art is proud to present not one, but two, amazing women-led music showcases this weekend.

On Friday, August 14, we welcome Jayza, JusJada, and Ariyah Jané to the stage! Backed by a five-piece band, these women are ready to let it rip. The evening promises an intimate, soul-stirring celebration of Seattle's independent R&B, soul, and roots talent — a master class, if you will, in soul, power, and precision by three of Seattle's most renowned songstresses.

If you want music that leans heavily into "good vibes, live percussion, unreleased tracks, and authentic crowd interactions" (EverOut) at an all-new venue where independent local artists are celebrated with a curated, high-energy party atmosphere — look no further!

On Sunday, August 16, you'll discover a highly cinematic fusion of indie rock and visual art featuring Tether The Star and Allie Byland.

Fronted by singer-songwriter and painter Maëry Lanahan — whose work is currently hanging in the Coliseum of Art — Tether The Star delivers a magnetic, introspective indie sound tailored for an art-centric audience. Allie Byland brings haunting soundscapes, lush arrangements, and deep-rooted melodies layered with guitar, strings, and pedal steel.
