Experience an evening where music and storytelling come together in Resonant Stories, featuring the Skyros Quartet, composer Nathan Wasner, and soprano Linda Tsatsanis.
The program opens with Perla di Venezia, a new work by violinist Dr. Sarah Pizzichemi that brings 18th-century Venetian composer Maddalena Lombardini's story to life through narration, percussion, and music. The evening continues with beautiful arrangements of Schubert songs for voice and string quartet, concluding with excerpts from Nathan Wasner's newly completed chamber opera, MADDALENA.
